Clock Designs

All my designs usually start out as ideas generally inspired by motifs of the Art Deco and mid-century type. They cross a lot of different boundaries, it’s a pretty rich vein to mine. I draw the pieces in a 3D CAD program, then machine the pieces for their molds. Along the way I use Keyshot to render the 3D images. Keyshot’s an amazing product, truly photo-realistic rendering. It makes it possible to try all sorts of color combinations in advance without having to cast anything first.

Here are some image categories you can peruse, each represents a family of designs with multiple clocks and color combinations underneath. All feature strong dial face designs, often with exotic fonts.

These constitute newer designs that I’ve not gotten around to casting yet. Hopefully, if my day job permits, I’ll get to some or all of these one day
